Creative visionary Mariah Braun is an award-winning marketing professional, independent filmmaker, speaker and founder and CEO of M3M Marketing, Northwestern Alberta’s trusted resource for impactful marketing and video production services.
With more than 21 years of combined sales and marketing experience, Mariah is the knowledgeable partner business owners turn to when they need to breathe fresh energy and clarity back into their brands. Her unique career and business background equip her to help entrepreneurs understand and navigate the real challenges of sustainable growth. Through her business, M3M Marketing, Mariah is proud to have collaborated with over 500 local, provincial and Canadian businesses and individuals.
At her core, Mariah’s mission is to help the business community grow, flourish and thrive. As a strategic thinker who stays current with trends, she demystifies the marketing process and helps leaders overcome common fears and misconceptions about marketing and promoting themselves. Through high-level strategy, video production, photography, and digital content creation, she develops strong marketing assets for business owners that drive measurable results. Grounded in her core values of community, collaboration, and creativity, Mariah approaches every client relationship intentionally, providing strategic solutions that make a lasting impact.
A deeply engaged changemaker and advocate for Northwestern Alberta’s evolving creative industry, Mariah actively dedicates her time and perspective to local boards and cultural initiatives. She previously served as a Board Member for the
Grande Prairie and District Chamber of Commerce from 2022–2024, has served on the Board of Directors for the
Philip J. Currie Dinosaur Museum since 2025, and sits on the Board of
DOC Alberta, where she also serves on the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) Committee. Through the
National Screen Institute and TELUS STORYHIVE program, Mariah has mentored emerging filmmakers and creators, showing the next generation their own potential and possibilities.
Mariah’s creative storytelling centers on sensitive, emotionally resonant narratives that share stories of resilience, local history and amplify underrepresented voices. She is the Director and Producer of three independent short documentary films, one of which has been nationally broadcast, and is the creator and host of the Creating North of 55 podcast.
